Community. Music. Joy.
The Greater Gardner Community Choir is a non-auditioned mixed choir open to teens and adults of all backgrounds and abilities from Gardner, MA and surrounding communities. We sing varied programs of secular, sacred and popular accompanied choral music, and our auditioned Chamber Singers perform an array of acapella works. We are a member of the Central Massachusetts Choral Consortium, and a 501c3 non-profit organization.
The GGCC holds two performance semesters each year: September - December and January - May. Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30pm at Bethany Baptist Church in Gardner, MA. We host and perform a large concert at the end of each performance semester, with additional smaller performances scheduled throughout the season.

Why join the GGCC?
Often in the winter, it is already dark when I leave for rehearsal. It is the end of the day, it is dark, I am tired, and I think "I just want to stay home".
But I go. And the tiredness goes away. And the grumpy static of the day is dispelled. And the dark is displaced by the light of song among companionship and laughter. And I am re-energized.
Jandy James
I have been singing under Diane for 17 years, since I was a freshmen in college. Her love for and dedication to community choral singing shines with her warm, welcoming spirit. As a fellow music educator, I am inspired by her energy and genuine love for the art of choral music. It is a privilege to sing under her direction.
